Prevention & Recovery Care (PARC)

Project Title: Examining the outcomes of a structured collaborative relapse prevention model of service in a Prevention and Recovery Care Service (PARCS).

Aim: To build a strong evidence base to support the delivery of the adapted version of Collaborative Therapy in a PARCS environment.

 

Objectives:

  1. To describe document the interventions being delivered within the PARCS environment (Clinical, CT, relaxation etc…)
  2. To articulate how Collaborative Therapy is being delivered in this setting.
  3. To explore the staff experience of using Collaborative Therapy (CT) in PARCS.
  4. To explore the consumer experience of participation in CT whilst in the PARC environment.
  5. To evaluate the impact on consumer outcomes.

The findings of the research will be published and presented as part of the discharge process from PARC, referrals are made to other relevant services including PDRS services, AoD services, Housing services etc.
